Korexis
Mission & Strategy

Europe's Strategic Defense
Independence

Korexis exists to close the capability gap between European defense ambition and operational reality. Headquartered at Lake Constance, Germany, Korexis is an early-stage defense technology company developing next-generation aerospace and defense concepts and systems for Europe's future security — entirely within European sovereign industry.

Europe's security environment has changed fundamentally. Peer-state competition, the proliferation of autonomous weapons, contested orbital infrastructure, and hybrid cyber-electronic threats demand a new generation of defense technology — one designed in Europe, for Europe. Korexis answers that demand across twelve core technology domains spanning air, land, maritime, space, and the electromagnetic spectrum.

All Korexis programs are designed from day one toward EU export-control rules, NATO STANAG interoperability standards, and BSI IT-Grundschutz security principles — so that the path from concept to certified operational system is built into the architecture, not retrofitted.

Why Technological Sovereignty Matters

Dependence on non-European defense suppliers creates strategic vulnerabilities that no alliance treaty can fully mitigate. Export restrictions, technology transfer bans, and supply-chain interdiction can deny European forces access to critical systems precisely when they are needed most.

The European Defence Fund and NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) have recognized this structural risk and are channeling tens of billions of euros into sovereign European defense industrial capacity. Korexis is built to contribute to this strategic imperative.

By designing and engineering in Germany, at Lake Constance, Korexis ensures that intellectual property, production tooling, and operational know-how remain within the European defense industrial base — permanently and unconditionally.

This commitment to European sovereignty is not merely a compliance posture. It is the core design principle of every Korexis program, from the selection of component suppliers to the architecture of classified software systems.

Core Technology Domains

Strategic Air Superiority

Korexis designs next-generation stealth bomber platforms, advanced UAV swarms, and short-range air defense systems that give European armed forces decisive advantages in contested airspace. Every platform is designed toward NATO STANAG standards and full interoperability across allied networks.

Hypersonic & Directed-Energy

The KX-HYP program pursues Mach 8+ strike capability with terminal-phase maneuverability, while the KX-LASER-1 directed-energy system delivers unlimited-endurance, speed-of-light intercept against drones and cruise missiles. Both programs are currently in the concept and research phase, developed entirely within European industry.

Orbital & Space Defense

Protecting Europe's critical satellite infrastructure is central to the KX-ORB program. Korexis develops LEO/MEO constellation architectures for persistent ISR, quantum-encrypted communications, and defensive counter-space capabilities that safeguard Europe's freedom of action in orbit.

Autonomous AI Systems

Edge-deployed AI decision engines are designed to power every Korexis platform — from threat classification in under 10 ms to decentralized swarm coordination without reliance on fragile communication links. All AI hardware is EMP-hardened and independently certifiable under EU AI Act defense provisions.

Electronic Warfare & Cyber

The KX-CYB suite provides offensive and defensive cyber capabilities, real-time SIGINT, and wideband electromagnetic spectrum dominance. Korexis integrates electronic warfare directly into every platform, ensuring that information superiority is never an afterthought.

Precision Guided Munitions

From air-to-ground standoff weapons to surface-to-surface ballistic systems, Korexis precision missiles combine active-radar and dual-mode IR seekers with NATO-standard data links. Range envelopes of 50–300 km close the gap between legacy artillery and strategic strike.
